I stayed there for 2 nights: Pros: * rooms and toilet were clean and hygienic, room service was also good. * view from the room was amazing (stayed in 3rd floor with balcony room). * all staffs were very cooperative. * location is not very far away from the mall road. Cons: * restaurant services could be better. * handwash and disposable slippers were missing.

I had booked for 3 days but moved to another hotel after first day. The condition of the rooms are pathetic. Even the hostel, jostel, motels have better rooms. Not complaining of views from the room but the condition of the rooms are awful. And there is no terrace that you can enjoy proper view and from ground floor nothing at all. May be from few rooms view might be there but I am not aware of it and didn't feel there could be any as per the location.

I visited Darjeeling in December and had my stay at Muscatel Bhumsang. The staffs are very courteous and genial. They responded very promptly whenever needed anything. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The location is very near to the clock tower and is 10-12 mins away from Mall. They served us good complimentary breakfast. However, we had dinner once, which was very simple, in the hotel but the price of the food was too high which was a thumbs down for me. Also, since we visited during the winters they provided us with bed warmers, hot water, and electric kettle. In case you need a heater, they will provide you but it's chargeable. The rooms are a tad bit costly due to the season's demand but I think it's worth it because they will ensure that you have a very pleasant stay at the hotel. I definitely would recommend you to prefer staying at Bhumsang. Rating: 4/5

Rooms are very clean and well maintained, even the bathroom was clean and hygienic. The staff are very polite and professional. The path to Mall Road is flat and there is no need to climb uphill, but it is a bit further than 200 meters. Overall the stay was wonderful and satisfactory. Do note there is paid parking available but it's a bit far from the hotel and the path to the parking is steep and narrow.

Photo in your site Vs actual room is completely different. While I paid for three days but I move out to another hotel after one night stay. People should not book online for this hotel. Also managements mindset not fit for hospitality business. Booked more than three months back looking at the picture.

Great service, rooms with great views from 2nd and 3rd floor and outstanding cleanliness by the housekeeping team. The hotel is approx 10 mins walk from Mall Road but it’s absolutely worth the price. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Didnt like that we had to pay 500 for parking and it's a one way street so to get there you must go all the way around which takes 15 minutes. They also charged us 400 for a space hear heater as the room was freezing. Rooms were OK but the beds were really hard. You can walk to most places in town from here.
